Photo editing.

These are the images I used for my final piece front cover, they are the same images, but the image on the bottom was my edited image. As you can see the image on the top is all wrong as the boy is not looking at the camera and also the lighting is very dull. So I used Adobe Photoshop to edit this image. I started by changing the brightness and contrast of the image, to make it more lighter, and also used the 'clone stamp tool' to make sure that all of the background was not only the same colour but also that it looked the same. I then went on to adjusting his eyes, he was not looking at the camera, so again I used the clone stamp tool and copied his eyes into another section to make sure he was looking at the camera, I then filled in the section where he was looking with an 'off white' colour paint.

These are two other images that I have not only used in my work, but have also edited. Again the image on the top is my original image but, I found it very dark, so using Adobe Photoshop, I changed the brightness and contrast of the image and also cropped the image, so it wasn't so filled and also certain parts weren't as needed and wouldn't of been seen in the next stage of their use. I then 'placed' this image into a star for my contents page and it was part of my back drop for my contents page and I have also used it as my main image in my double page spread.
